It's already the end of September with its golden bales of hay and soft light.

I'm looking forward to the crisp days of October - are you?

After a very cold snap, we're back to September's last hurrah with its golden light and warm days!

September is one of my favourite months - I love the light and the late summer feeling when herons collect in trees and on the jetty.

It's September and some of the birds are already leaving us for their winter holidays...
