Our World: 20 May 2019
Never work with animals or kids ... there will always be one who doesn't want to look at the camera! :-)

Our World: 13 May 2019
It might be mid-May, but we have been having colder than normal temperatures. I guess you could say it's a Viking spring!

Our World: 29 April 2019
I'm not sure how it happened, but it's nearly May already! My birch allergy is in full bloom. The mozzies, ticks and flowers are all out. It must be spring!

Not quite sure how it happened - but it's April already!
Hope you're all enjoying spring flowers or autumn leaves.

Our World: 25 March 2019
We've had rain, snow, sleet and then sun! But the snow is finally melting even though there is still ice on the lake.
NOTE! The old easy-to-use Link-up tool is no longer available and we now have to use this new one. So fingers crossed that it works! (The instructions on how to set up the new link are not that clear, but I think it should work.) :-)

Our World: 11 March 2019
We're having a great winter this spring with hoar frost, melting snow and then snowstorms! The deer don't mind and they were glad to see some grass before it got covered with snow again.

People always get their hopes up about spring... we've had a warm spell, but now it's very cold again! Still, it keeps the ticks away! :-)

Our World: 25 February 2019
A couple of weeks ago, we were under about 2.5 feet of snow. (Most of it has melted already.)
After a couple of days of snow, it looked as if we had a snow monster outside of the front door!

I love really old buildings covered in snow, don't you? This is an old mill in the countryside.

Our World: Hurray-it's-February-Edition
We've had a lot of snow recently! Luckily, here in Sweden, we don't take snow days as winter tyres are obligatory. But we have to do a lot of shovelling!

Lady Fi here! Just to give you a heads up about my new blog theme. The header goes across the top of the page (at the moment, it's a shot of Ruby catching snowflakes). The eight smaller squares are more like Instagram. Click a square to get to a blog post. The newest post is always the one at the top left. Hope this helps!

Our World: 21 January 2019
The wonderful poet, Mary Oliver, died recently. Did you know that she was a great dog lover? She writes this:
A dog can never tell you what she knows
from the smells of the world,
but you know, watching her,
that you know
almost nothing.

from the smells of the world,
but you know, watching her,
that you know
almost nothing.

The temperatures are getting below zero - and I hope they stay that way. Yes - I'm a woman who loves snow and winter!
